It Will Work 05/10/2012
By Amber K.
I needed a strapless bra to wear with a bridesmaid dress and I settled on this one. overall, it seems like it will work, I wore it at my dress fitting and it seemed fine. The compression part of the shirt doesn't compress anything for me. I think it would if it were a smaller size, but my boobs wouldn't fit in a smaller size. My band size is 40 and cup size DDD so I went with the 2x which fits fine. I will definitely take the pads out because then tend to bunch up when you lift the cup to nurse then you have to mess around with it to get it to lay flat again. And the elastic is tight around the top of your breast when you lift the cup part up over your breast, but you get use to that after a minute or two. I would say just go with the bandeau without the compression top because the tank part fits like a normal shirt.

Good Wife 06/05/2010

This is such a fantastic bra. One very important thing to remember and do is order a size LARGER than what the size chart says you are. Now that I'm nursing I am currently a 36C, but the bra was too small. I found a store in VA that later told me that you should always order a size up when purchasing La Leche League products. Needless to say I bought 2 more strapless bra's at a bigger size and I am much much happier.

Ok bra 05/04/2011

The bra is ok and is nice to have for the summer strapless dresses however I was hoping for the belly part to be a better fabric and more form fitting. It's just as if I have a ribbed cotton shirt on rather than pushing anything down for me. Maybe a LG was too big however I don't see how a M would have fit my chest area. Guess I was hoping for a more girdle type fit. It's comfortable and worth the $ though.

Great product 08/19/2011

I love this bra/tank. I have small breasts even with nursing (34 B) so the Med fits me perfectly. Unlike some tube style bras I can actually wear this with some of my V-neck shirts. The nursing access is great - no clips to fumble with. It even has foam pads which give me a little padding which help make some of my nursing shirts fall better across my chest. Love it!

Good bra 09/09/2010

This is a perfect bra for wearing with a strapless dress. I needed one for a wedding I am in 7 weeks postpartum. This slims my postpartum belly and holds my breasts well. And yes, order a larger size then you normally would. I am currently a 36D (I used to be a 34C) and the large fits me well. The large is still even a little tight though, but I like it that way.

Sent it back. I wouldn't recommend this product for larger breasted women. I am 35" band width and can barely squeeze into a triple D thanks to breast feeding 3 kids for 18 months each (for the first two and working on the 3rd) in the last 5 years (up from a B-C cup 5 yrs. ago). The top made me look fat, not well-endowed and is definitely not good for a low necklined dress such as a halter. I just wouldn't recommend it if you have a small band width and large cup size. It looks great on the models, so I'm sure if you have a smaller cup size, it'd be great. Once, on, it seemed to be easy to breast feed, just was NOT flattering!
